As far as removable piers are concerned, we only sell the MAX line, but we gladly service most other decks and piers whether permanent or removable. We are happy to be your support wrapping up your summer and safely and efficiently removing your pier, as well as getting you back on the water as soon as possible when spring rolls around. Our dedicated team can come directly to your back yard to make any necessary repairs that may be required over time, whether you bought your dock from us or not.

If you’re looking for a more permanent option for your dream pier, you’ve come to the right place. Along with our line of MAX removable piers, we are proud to offer custom built permanent steel frame piers. We offer several options for decking our permanent piers (prices will vary) and we will help you every step of the process choosing the deck that best fits your wants and needs.

All steel for our permanent piers comes from a local company that has been in the steel business since 1939.  Welding, cutting and fabricating is all done in-house at our facility.  Frames are assembled before being delivered to the customer's location.

Our frames are all custom built to fit our customer's specific needs.  Piers can be made into a variety of widths and lengths and can be installed completely over water, half on land half on water, or completely over land.

Pole height and locations are available upon customer's request.  outside poles are available in 1' or 4' heights, or complete under leg is also an option.  Any poles that are visible will be covered with white PVC and capped.

We use 20' 4" OD Schedule 40 pipe that will be pounded into the ground to the point of refusal. 4" x 4" x 1/4" angle will be used to build the entire frame and will be completely welded together to make one solid unit.

We offer three decking options: treated wood, sure-step (flood-proof), and Trex Select or Lumberock.  Each of these decking options are offered in a variety of lengths & colors.

Manufacturer warranties on each of these decking options vary.  Captain Rod's offers a five-year workmanship warranty.  No warranties are covered under acts of God / Mother Nature.
